It's hot in here!
A visit to the immersive classroom at the junior school.
This week, we visited the immersive classroom to help us to understand how it feels to be in the Amazon rainforest. We could hear the rain pouring and saw tigers, sloths, toucans, monkeys, frogs, lemurs, alligators and other animals who live in the rainforest. To find out more about these animals and hear the sound they make, we took turns to choose an animal and by tapping the wall, as if by magic the animal called back to us. The tiger growled very loudly and the monkey made us all laugh. While we were looking at the animals, some cheeky parrots kept flying around the room. Ladybirds had a fantastic time, which also included a fun brushing teeth game, to remind us of the importance of brushing our teeth well and twice a day for at least two minutes.
