After a busy Easter holiday, the Ladybirds have settled back to school very well. We have launched our new topic of 'People Who Help Us' and the children have been enthusiastic to share their prior knowledge of this. It has been lovely to hear about the aspirations of the children and what they hope to do later in life, well for now although that might change!

Amongst some super writing, maths work, role-play fun and many other activities, the Ladybirds have been showing their creativity through art. Each child has chosen to represent a role of someone who is important in the community, with a painting. Now we are in our final term, we have begun to consider why we need different types of paintbrushes, and how the thick and thin mark making tools  are used to improve our work.
