Summer Fayre Fun!

Summer Fayre breaks fundraising record!

Thankfully, the weather remained bright, warm and sunny, which enabled us all to have the very well-organised Summer Fayre outside. There were the usual stalls, but this year the PTFA wished to maximise their profit so ensured everything offered was managed by their members. The new and second-hand toy stands were very popular as was the Ormes-bee Honey. We broke our fundraising record this year with a profit of £2,120.28. This was an amazing achievement by all involved.

On Monday the Year 1 children had a trip to Hirst's Farm and Maze to see a working farm in action. The children got to experience a tractor and trailer ride and saw the animals there and how they were looked after. Thank you to all volunteers and staff for making it a success.

On Thursday, the Attendance Reward Trip took place for the children eligible from across the Federation where they went off the The Arc Cinema to watch How To Train Your Dragon. It was a successful trip and the children enjoyed it immensely. Hopefully, we have more children wanting to attend next year.

Next week, we have our Year 2 Leavers' BBQ and traditional treasure hunt on Wednesday. We will then have our Year 2 Leavers' Assembly on Friday in the school Hall at 2:00pm.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone.
