Mental Care
Week ends on World Mental Health Day!
This week has been extremely busy and culminated in everyone wearing something yellow to commemorate World Mental Health Day, The mental well-being of everyone is vitally important to be supported and protected in this day and age where there are so many pressures and stresses in our environment. There is no age-limit for someone to be plagued with mental health challenges, so today was about ensuring people know why they must talk to someone and share their worries before they become overwhelming. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but strength. Young Minds charity offer lots of support, as do Just One Norfolk who can put families in touch with the relevant services, such as CAMHS.
Yesterday, our School Improvement Partner visited and spoke to me about both schools, their strengths and the areas for improvement. We toured the Junior school and made another date to review the Infant school. She was pleased with what she saw and what she heard, so I hope she will feel the same on her next visit here.
M&M Productions returned for their annual visit performing Alice in Wonderland for all the children. The behaviour was perfect, as noticed by the cast and the children and staff were enthralled by the show. Apparently, the best one yet...and I missed it...typical. Next year, the team will be back for another version of the Wizard of Oz.
Next week, we have our Infant Autumn disco on Wednesday. Please note that if children are not well-behaved in school, staff will expect parents to attend with their child to ensure behaviour remains appropriate. Failing that, children will not be invited. On Friday, there will be a non-uniform day in exchange for food donations for our Harvest Festival celebrations.
Have a relaxing weekend everyone!
