Geo-Caching Excitement!

Cross-Phase Geo-Caching generates lots of excitement!

Another week flies by as we move into the final month of the school year. There will be a lot of events over the coming weeks, so please ensure you stay abreast of our communications about the different elements being organised.

On Monday, the children from Infants all visited the Junior school to take part in collaborative cross-phase Geo-Caching. The older children were amazing with the younger ones leading the activities and teaching them how Geo-Caching works. The younger children were in awe of the older ones and listened attentively. A great learning opportunity for all.

As a staff team, we have decided to alter the way we have previously run sports' day. This year, we have done away with the carousel of activities with our parents traversing over the entire site. Our main reason for this is pupil safety and to ensure less emotional distress is caused when children see their parents, particularly when they leave. A letter has been sent home explaining our plans and we trust our families will agree the management is much improved. We will see parents now at 1:45pm for a 2:00pm start. Pupils will then be able to go home with their families at the end of the school day. Remember infant sports' day is Wednesday 1st July.

Next week, on Tuesday, we have the Norfolk Library Service visiting to promote the Summer Reading Challenge in assembly. On Friday, it is non-uniform day in exchange for a Tombola prize. We also have the Coastguard in to do an assembly on beach and sea safety.

Have a great weekend everyone.
