It's a marvellous occasion!

It has been our first full week into our new academic year and our Infants have all been working hard to settle even further into their new classes. Our Reception cohort have been getting used to spending time together and they will be aiming to join us for assembly in next week's Good Work Assembly. I have enjoyed popping in to see them learn in Phonics. 

Staff have completed the new anaphylaxis training following Benedict's Law. It was positive to learn more deeply about the different types of allergens and it ensures our children are now even safer.

On Friday, the children commemorated the life's works of author, Roald Dahl, by bringing in some of his most popular books and completing some fun Dahl-esque activities. Staff also shared some extracts from his novels. 

Next week, we will be welcoming back our Open the Book team for a new year of stories. We will also be engaging the children in even more learning from our inclusive curriculum.
