Bullseye!
Premier Sports provide an Archery masterclass!
This week parents have been able to gain a far greater understanding of their children's progress in school as we had our parent-teacher meetings. Hopefully, all parents were able to make an appointment either over the phone, virtually or in person. If you were not able to, please ensure you contact the teachers to get one arranged.
On Wednesday, the children walked to Church to take part in the Harvest festival celebrations. The weather was poor, but held off just enough for us all to walk there and back without getting too wet. Thank you to Rev. Jo and her team for the service and a huge well done to those pupils who sang, played an instrument and danced without Mrs. White-Joubert being available to direct, as she was off poorly. It was great for the Infant children to see what opportunities are available to them when they get a little older.
An NSPCC team came in on Thursday to take the children through a Stay Safe: Speak Out campaign to increase their awareness of dangers and understanding of how to stay safe in person and online, A very worthwhile visit for the children.
As the photograph shows, we had Premier Sports visit to take the children through an Archery workshop and then record their scores so each class could be tested against one another. I wonder who will be victorious? Lots of enjoyment was had ahead of half-term with many children scoring bullseyes successfully.
We return after the half-term break on Monday 2nd November, so relax, stay safe and enjoy the time with family and friends.
