Rainbow Raffle

PTFA rainbow raffle highlights the generosity of our parents!
This week has been another busy week. On Tuesday, we had our Christingle service where Rev. Jo visited with a Christingle for each child to take home. These were kindly made by members of the Church, so they must have spent some considerable time preparing them. Thank you.
On Thursday, the Reception class went off with their letters to Father Christmas to find the village postbox. It was brilliant to see them all so excited to post them just as the Postal Worker arrived to empty the box. He reassured everyone that their letters would get to their destination on time.
Mrs. Vaughan has had to take some absence on medical grounds, so this was the first week without her being here. We do miss her. She is recovering well but to fill her shoes we were all thrilled that Mrs. Allen could return. Mrs. Allen says the class have adjusted superbly and continued to behave impeccably.
Our PTFA will be collating all the rainbow raffle donations, which families have kindly brought in. They do look great, so thank you all for your generosity.
Next week on Monday, as per our Autumn events calendar, we have our Infant Curriculum Celebration event, beginning at 2:15pm, where parents are invited in to sit with their child and go through their learning journeys. On Friday at St. Margaret's Church, we also have our Family Carol Concert beginning at 6pm. This is a very relaxed, festive occasion with traditional carols, choristers and readings being shared together.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
