Rehearsals in full Swing!

Whole school prepares for a day of performances.
This week has been very busy for the staff and pupils regarding the various Christmas events and activities. The rehearsals for the Keep Calm! It's only a Nativity! performances have been ongoing and it has been really lovely to see the mini dress rehearsal this morning and hear the different songs being sung. They are quite catchy and I do find myself humming them randomly from time to time. I am sure both shows will be successful. Thank you to parents also for doing their bit to get costumes ready and to help the children practise at home.
On Monday, parents visited for our Infant Curriculum Celebration event, the first one of the year. Thank you to all who came in and I hope you found looking through the children's work with them alongside, productive and meaningful. There will be another in the Spring Term, if you were unable to make it this term, so keep an eye out for the date.
On Friday evening we will have the Family Carol Concert in St. Margaret's Church from 6:00pm, where some of our children have volunteered to read and sing traditional carols together. We have songs from the choir and some refreshments after. I am sure it will be a great evening event. Thank you to the Church for hosting.
Next week, the children will be performing for our Year 3 class on Monday in a dress rehearsal. Then they have the main two performances on Wednesday 17th December at 10am and 2pm. Please remember to pick your tickets up from the main office. On Thursday 18th December, we have our Christmas Dinner and Jumpers day, followed by Christmas Parties with Jumpers on Friday 19th December, which is our final day of the term.
Have a great weekend everyone!
