Bonfire Night Art

The Ladybird class have been learning about the world this week, including past events to give the children a sense of time. They have been learning that just like them, families are unique and can also be different, for example not everyone has a brother or sister.  

With Bonfire Night approaching at the weekend, we have talked about firework safety and the importance of keeping pets safe too. Using black paper for the background, the children have been creating ‘splatter paintings’ to represent the fireworks they are looking forward to seeing. As they worked we talked about the sounds we expect to hear on Bonfire Night. Well done Ladybirds, I am proud of how you have returned to school this week!
