Time

Maths Development

The Ladybirds have been learning about time. To help us understand this more easily, we talked about some activities we could do indoors and outdoors. Using a timer, the children found out how many times they could repeat something in a given time. Some children drew circles, others saw how many times they could write their own name in a minute. Outdoors, we played with beanbags, seeing how many times we could aim and throw the beanbag into the bucket in one minute.

Now the Ladybirds have a clearer understanding of what one minute feels like.
