Christmas Dinner is here!

Dinner time has Christmas fever!

It was lovely to end the week with Christmas jumpers and a Christmas meal, despite the obvious excitement from the pupils. Today, we welcomed the Year 3 pupils down from the Junior school to come and watch the Infant Extravaganza Dress Rehearsal. The staff have put in a real shift to get this event completed and ready in time for the final week and can we thank our parents for the support with costumes. We have every belief you will enjoy the occasion, which may even have the odd technical glitch thrown in for good measure. This all adds to the memorable occasion.

Our Governors visited last week, but in our meeting this week, they were very impressed by the efforts of the staff and the enthusiasm of the children to engage with their curriculum. This makes me very proud.

Attendance this week was won by Dragonflies with 93% - well done to this class.

Next week on Monday, we have parents visiting to attend our first curriculum celebration event. Here, we want you and your children to go through their books and their learning and really get a flavour from them of what they have enjoyed and what achievements they are proud of. Again, like with our Decoration Day, we ask that you do not go into toilet areas with your children for safeguarding reasons, but you may go between classrooms if you have more than one child in the school because we want you to spend an equal amount of time with each child you have. Staff will be on hand to guide you to where you need to go, if you are unsure. Please do not take your child out of the school early, but enjoy what they have been doing together for the time you are here. When you do leave, class staff must be notified so that they can be signed out and over to you. Please leave the classes through the class exit doors.

We also have our afternoon performances at 2PM on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th December. Please ensure you have got your tickets on the day and remember it is only two per family for health and safety reasons. If parents are separated, we hope tickets can be shared between the mothers and fathers to ensure both parents get to see their children.

Also on Wednesday 14th, Rev. Jo will visit again for our Infant Christingle service, so next week is going to be extremely busy with a variety of festive treats.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone.
