Happy New Year!
New Year continues with positive momentum!
Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you had a restful break with families over the Christmas period. It was good to see many of you on the first day back in my usual spot, but it seems, like me, the dreaded illnesses caught hold of some of you and made you feel quite poorly. I hope you recover soon.
It may be a new year, but we have ensured the momentum from the previous year has endured with new opportunities for pupils and a positive drive to improve standards. Our H.I.D.E. nurture space is ready to be used and Miss. Forman is taking the lead on how this is going to operate with initial sessions for specific children in Drawing for Talking. We cannot wait for the impact of this room to be seen. The children who have been in there have already indicated their approval to me.
On Wednesday, Mr. Earle from Back to Basics visited to instruct all our Years 1 and 2 pupils in outdoor learning and bushcraft. As you will have seen from the photographs on our Gallery and social media pages, lots of fun was had by all, not to mention lots of learning. This will be taking place across the Spring Term and after half-term will be transferred to all our Reception children.
Please ensure you read my Spring term newsletter and keep the calendar of events somewhere safe for your reference to inform you about all the up-and-coming events.
Have a great weekend everyone!
